Whilst our focus is first and foremost on taking guests on daily small-group tours through the thriving local wine region, we also offer winery transfers, vehicle and driver hire and a comprehensive range of combination tours.
Explore with us the famous Gibbston Wine Region. Known as the “Valley of Vines”, vineyards are sandwiched between rugged schist mountains and the rocky Kawarau River gorge. Gibbston is home to over 75 wineries producing a wide range of wine varietals.
The wondrous Wakatipu Basin, which incorporates Queenstown, was created by glacial movement some 15,000 years ago. Evidence of Maori presence has been found dating back around 700 years, though the area was apparently not settled by Maori; rather, it was used by Maori as a summer hunting ground for the huge, flightless (now extinct) moa bird and the treasured pounamu, or greenstone, which was found there.

Today, the TSS Earnslaw is believed to be the oldest working coal-fired passenger steamship in the southern hemisphere. Guests can explore the decks from the engine room viewing platform to the Skipper’s wheelhouse. They can feel the heat of the giant steam engines at work and watch the stokers shovel coal into the glowing fireboxes.
